The Harvest Turkey

Long ago there was a turkey,
his feathers many colors.
The strange thing was he had only four,
there wasn't any others.
He comes around at harvest time,
he leaves when there is snow.
He weighs forty pounds, but when the flakes come,
a-fliyin' away he goes.

Bike For Rent
hello. This is Rowan Schultz. I have a bike that I am wiling to rent to anyone that is interested in riding in the skate park, or maybe going on a short bike trip. The bike is a blue Haro bmx bike that is maybe ten years old. This is not the ideal bike for a long trip, but it works great in the skate park. The seat can be adjusted with an allen wrench, and it does not go up too high. The pricing is five dollars for an hour and thirty five dollars for an eight hour day. You can reach me at 231-929-3402, or e-mail me at jayfeather288@gmail.com. Thank you for choosing R and D enterprises and I hope this is the bike for you.

What’s going on
This coming Monday pathfinder summer camp is going to start. The first week is going to be “the summer Olympics” I am not entirely sure what the second week is, but the third week is fish n’ arrows part one. These camps that I am listing are only for the adventurers, kids who are ten and up. Every day at the end of the day kids get to swim in cedar lake. At the end of the week there is a Friday share where each group shares what they did throughout the week.

Books
The last book in the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus came out this fall. It’s really good and it’s called The Blood of Olympus. The Inheritance Cycle written by Christopher Paolini is complete, and is really good. The final book, Inheritance is 849 pages long! The Warriors series by Erin Hunter is really good. I am on omen of the stars, the last hope. And finally I will talk about Angie Sage’s series Septimus Heap. The series is very good, and consists of seven books, all of which are over 500 pages. The last book, Fyre came out last year. I will nowinclude a picture of Firestar from warriors.

Dungeons and Dragons
My dad and I are selling Dungeons and Dragons adventures on Drive Thru RPG. And we are continuing to develop adventures to sell and to play with friends. Our next release will either be Lady Maerwyn or another volume of adventure shorts. For those of you at Pathfinder who are going to be involved in our summer D&D sessions, be ready for adventure.

R&D's D&D

Have you checked out the new R&D's D&D blog written by Doug Schultz? It is a really good blog to look at if you are into swordplay and medieval armor, weapons, shields, and heraldry. Playing D&D will give you the opportunity to pick an orc's pocket or fight off a mob of gnolls. Dad might also be giving small summaries from the Dungeons and Dragons we are playing at my school.

My dad is one of the best dungeon masters I know, and he is also really good at the game. He even writes some really good adventures, with my help, and is going to sell them on RPG the role-playing game website, under R&D's D&D adventures. Below I will list the adventures in chronological order.

1. Blackstone Tomb (for level 1)

2. Lady Maerwynn (for level 2)
3. Forest Labyrinth (for level 4)
4. The Plight of Castle Blackstone (for level 5)
5. The Fall of Schamberg Fortress (for level 6)
6. Inferno Rising (for level 8)
7. Inferno's Revenge (for level 10)

Animal Relocation Service :)

Animal Relocation Service (ARS)

Hello this is Rowan Schultz,
I am starting an animal relocation service. If you have moles or voles, or anything about rabbit-sized or smaller, that is making mounds in your lawn, eating your garden, or anything else, please call 231-929-3402 or e-mail dougschultz1969@gmail.com. You can also send me a letter, the address is 712 Westminster Road Traverse City Michigan 49686 or just come to my house! Once I start caching stuff in my own backyard, you can also buy animals from me. Just contact me and I’ll tell you the price range for the kind of animal you want. It would be much easier if you came to my house though.

       Sincerely, Your Friend Rowan J

Weather

Thursday February 27th 2014 is supposed to have snow showers; there will probably also be some snow devils. As for blowing snow there will be quite a bit of that. Please comment on this post if you see any snow devils. The nighttime snow accumulation will be about 2 to 3 inches. The lowest wind chill readings are going to be 13 below to 23 below Zero after midnight.

Sports

At pathfinder school the boy’s basketball team recently finished a season. We only won one game against Buckley. And I think that was against Buckley a team. I was on the basketball team and in the tournament we really put up a fight against GTAA (grand traverse academy a team,) but we sadly lost, the score was four to three and it was really close though. I have been having indoor soccer games on Saturdays for two weeks now, and our team has lost the first game 11 to three and the second game 6 to 7. Oh right the COED volleyball teams started a couple of weeks ago and the sixth grade had a game last night. At the game they creamed the Grand Traverse Academy a team! And that is awesome. I could have said more, but I think that’s enough in the sports column for now.

Hoping that school is canceled on Thursday I think we should leave off on a good note. Bye for right now.
